From Principals Desk

It is my great privilege to introduce you to Shree B.J.Patel Umiya BCA College, affiliated to Gujarat University, under the Parent Trust 'Shree Umiya K.V.C. Education Trust', the one pursuing excellence in education. Our aim is to build professional integrity and towards this end, we bestow in self development, self accountability and community deportment amongst students. The Motto is to impart them a standard in this practical word.

The College has been constantly endeavoring to empower students to take on future challenges through their focus on efficient teaching, regulation and industry. Admission

We are following the centralized admission procedure determined by Gujarat University for the BCA Program since Inception.
Minimum Qualification
For the purpose of admission, a candidate shall have passed the H.S.C Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) in the subjects prescribed by Gujarat University from time to time from -
  • The Gujarat Board
  • The Central Board of Secondary Education
  • The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi
  • The National Institute of Open Schooling
  • The International School Board
  • A candidate who has passed the H.S.C examination from any State other than Gujarat

    A candidate should have passed H.S.C Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) with the following subject:
    English or English as Medium of Instruction.The Students who has studied in English Medium and English was not the subject in 12th standard, then He/She has to produce a Certificate from school that He/She has studied in English Medium.
    A candidate who has passed the H.S.C Examination after appearing in the supplementary examination conducted by the Board shall be eligible for admission in the current academic year on vacant seats.
    A candidate who has passed the H.S.C examination from other than Gujarat Board or Central Board School in Gujarat only shall be required to obtain PEC from Gujarat University before registration.
    The procedure commences from 1st June 2016 at our college.

    Rules & Regulations

    1. The Student has to be present 15 minutes before the prescribed college time.
    2. The institute has strict rules regarding class attendance. It is compulsory for students to attend all the classes.
    3. The student has to compulsory wear Identity card during college hours.
    4. Any kind of misbehavior to teaching as well as administration staff will not be tolerated.
    5. The students have to maintain formal dressing in college.
